About The Position

As a UI/UX Designer at ASTEC Digital, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our connectivity platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and engineers, to transform complex technical features into user-friendly designs.

Key Activities & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers to understand user needs, business goals, and technical requirements.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to illustrate your design concepts.
  • Create user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and make data-driven design decisions.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure the seamless implementation of design solutions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design.

To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Experience with construction or industrial equipment industry is a plus.

Travel Requirements: Minimal travel for team meetings and customer events may be required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to risk of injury in an office environment and occasionally a manufacturing shop plant environment.
