What You’ll Do:
- Assist in developing and testing machine learning models for injury risk prediction, motion evaluation, and strength conditioning baselines.
- Contribute to computer vision pipelines focused on posture analysis, reach, and biomechanical alignment.
- Analyze time-series and IMU sensor data to derive metrics for ergonomic capacity and job readiness.
- Annotate, clean, and process datasets for training and validation.
- Support feature engineering and model optimization efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Document experiments, workflows, and findings in a reproducible format.
- Contribute to special research initiatives and team projects.
- Participate in presentations or demos (if desired).
- Assist with various research projects and/or special projects.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current enrollment or recent graduate from a bachelor’s or master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Formal degree not required – applicants may complete a knowledge assessment in lieu of academic credentials.
- Coursework or experience in machine learning, computer vision, or deep learning.
- Familiarity with Python and related libraries (e.g., PyTorch, OpenCV, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
- Interest in human movement science, ergonomics, or occupational health is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work independently and in team settings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
