Job Summary

The Manager, Project Manager Production is responsible for monitoring and reporting project progress and results to ensure that projects meet expectations and deadlines.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

This position reports directly to the Vice President, Production Americas and bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Expanding the organization, Project Management, Production US (PUQ), including recruiting and training project managers, implementing necessary processes and procedures according to PQ and PU specifications and in coordination with Head of Project Management PQP. 30%
  • Leading, training and developing supervised employees at the Danbury location in accordance with BELIMO Group leadership principles, including goal setting and employee reviews in coordination with line managers PU, making personnel decisions in collaboration with HR and supervisor. 20%
  • Initiating, planning, controlling and managing complex projects or sub-projects in KB Production, leading and motivating all project participants until successful completion of the project and ensuring that it is completed on time and within budget. 20%
  • Responsible for training, development and optimal deployment of employees in the department. Making personnel decisions in collaboration with HR and supervisor, or line manager. 10%
  • Managing the project roadmap for one's own area of responsibility in coordination with PQP, based on the project portfolio, and responsible for allocating projects and project leaders, close cooperation with other project management organizations. 10%
  • Ensuring project fulfillment with regards to quality, schedule compliance and cost for all projects managed in the KB P project portfolio. 5%
  • Budgeting, cost center responsibility for their area of responsibility 5%.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business administration or a technical field, with additional education in project management.
  • 10+ years of experience leading global projects in a supply chain environment within an international, growing industrial company.
  • Experience in people management and leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of Belimo, including interrelationships of organizations, processes and strategies and alignment with Belimo's values.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with a strategic, long-term mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex, networked structures.
  • Expert proficiency in MS Office (including AfO) and SAP environments.
  • Flexible and enthusiastic about innovation and change.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an engaging and inspiring leadership style.
  • Team-oriented leader who values humility, prioritizes team success over personal achievements, and fosters employee growth.
  • Highly independent, reliable, and capable of managing complex situations.

  • Willingness to travel (approximately 5%).
  • Experience as a consultant within the supply chain environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in German is preferred.

The base pay for this position ranges from $120,000 - $140,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 15% of an employee’s annual base salary.
