Position Summary: As an ENGEO GIS Analyst, you will coordinate with our dynamic engineers and Project Managers to help clients understand plans and recommendations, site status, construction or soil remediation progress, and geographical factors affecting the site. You will work alongside ENGEO’s innovative team of Geotechnical, Environmental, Water Resource, and Construction industry leaders to meet project’s GIS-related needs and help build our business!

Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare professional quality maps
- Update and maintain GIS platform in ArcGIS Enterprise Portal
- Use GIS to help our clients visualize project information
- Collaborate with the GIS team and Project Managers to create innovative solutions for visualizing data
- Utilize spatial analysis tools and techniques for grading, slope, soil classification, 3D, and hydrological modeling
- Identify, assign, and align data based on various coordinate systems and map projections
- GIS to CAD interoperability or vice versa while maintaining data integrity
- Stay up to date with the latest GIS technology and make recommendations on improving processes.
- Experience within AEC industry
- Lidar data review, processing, modeling
- Well-organized with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Efficient with time and is an innovative problem-solver
- Adapts to rapidly changing project needs and deadlines while tracking time spent
- Works independently or collaboratively and follows instructions with minimal oversight
- Exhibits high attention to detail
- Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills
Required Qualifications
- Familiar with ESRI software (ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal, AGOL, Field Maps, Desktop, and Pro)
- Self-motivated, ability to handle multiple tasks, and prioritize according to priority
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geology, or related field
- Strong understanding of spatial data concepts, projection systems, data management, and geodatabases
- Must be able to legally work within the United States.
- Minor or certificate in GIS or related fields from a major university
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Python experience
- Experience with SQL-based database systems
