Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting and repairing of: HVAC, refrigeration, A/C components, plumbing fixtures, electrical circuits, cooking, food preparation, and sanitation equipment including commercial dish washing machines
• Maintain the general condition of the facility with regards to all aspects of the cooking, production machinery, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical and painting work as needed
• Complete last-minute repairs on site and general construction work as needed
• Keep existing tools and shop in good condition, organized and clean at all times
• Ensure all maintenance and repairs are cost effective and with limited impact on production and staff
• Perform final operational test on all equipment and quality-check all repairs
• Upkeep and maintain food safety
  
  

Qualifications:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in general maintenance
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Able to work unaccompanied or under supervision
• Punctual and diligent
• Able to use a laptop & phone to communicate via email and phone
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, heavy workload and stand for a prolonged period of time as necessary
• Able to move, lift, carry, pull or push as needed
• Able to complete assigned tasks within a given time to meet strict deadlines
• Flexible (able to work different shifts –days, nights, weekends, holidays)
