The Club has an extensive selection of world-class facilities for all ages, including a 27 hole golf course, 9 Har Tru tennis courts, 4 international squash courts, 6 outdoor platform tennis courts, 3 pickleball courts, 3 pools, 4 lane duckpin bowling alley, and a state of the art fitness facility.

Job Overview

• Cleaning dishes to ensure that the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans and glasses.
• Prioritizing loads of different types of kitchenware, hand-washing dishes, loading the dishwasher and placing dishes to dry.
• Prep work as needed.
• Taking garbage and trash to dumpster area.
• Maintain clean, sanitary conditions in the kitchen including all china, silverware, glassware, pots, pans and equipment.
• Safely and efficiently operates dish washing machine.
• Ensures proper soap and rinse chemicals are loaded for washing.
• Removes from service any dishes, utensils, and glassware that are damaged or broken.
• Helps stock delivered food and non-food items.
• Empty and clear garbage bins and breakdown of boxes.
• Deep cleaning of kitchen and equipment.
• Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
• Maintains a positive and professional demeanor.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures at The Hartford Golf Club.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong English language skills and ability to communicate in English.
