Intermediate Business Consultant SAP FI/CO/Tax :

Qualifications/ Skills:

  • (Mandatory) Experience as SAP Business Consultant
  • (Mandatory) Experience in the area of method, process and system design for accounting, tax and controlling relevant business processes
  • Several years of professional experience in the fields of accounting and controlling
  • Ideally, additional training in the SAP environment (e.g. SAP certification)
  • Process understanding in individual and consolidated financial statement preparation
  • Good knowledge of the legal framework of accounting for US-GAAP as well as international accounting standards (IFRS)

Main Tasks:

  • Support in the US/Detroit-rollout of a new, standardized SAP system landscape for accounting and financial reporting for the Daimler Truck Financial Services (DTFS) Group
  • Analysis and description of the requirements of local transactional accounting processes taking into account local accounting standards as well as the accounting processes for leasing and financing in the local companies.
  • Documentation of local market processes and requirements in business requirement documents.
  • Detailed analysis of local Reporting and Controlling requirements.
  • Creation and design of business solutions ending up in change request towards SAP Template for Tax reporting, regulatory reporting, FI, Controlling (optional: asset accounting)
  • Setup of Company Codes and Branches in SAP

Intermediate Business Consultant SAP FICO & Banking:

Qualifications/ Skills:

  • (Mandatory) Experience as SAP Business Consultant
  • (Mandatory) Experience in the area of method, process and system design for accounting, controlling and banking relevant business processes
  • Several years of professional experience in the fields of accounting and controlling
  • Ideally, additional training in the SAP environment (e.g. SAP certification)
  • Process understanding in individual and consolidated financial statement preparation
  • Good knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS)
  • Very good knowledge of SAP FI, BC Banking Module

Main Tasks:

  • Support in the rollout of a new, standardized SAP system landscape for accounting and financial reporting for the Daimler Truck Financial Services (DTFS) Group
  • Analysis and description of the requirements of local transactional accounting processes taking into account local accounting standards as well as the accounting processes for leasing and financing in the local companies
  • Creation of design and technical concepts for change requests towards SAP Template, based on local market requirements for banking processes, payment file formats and integration to banking solutions
  • Coordination of local process requirements and interfaces in cooperation with IT
  • Setup of Company Codes and Branches in SAP
  • Clarification & documentation of accounting, controlling and banking processes

Reason For Request: Project Support to implement SAP Fast Template

All consultants should possess the following skills:

  • Proactive mindset and ability to work independently
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines and ensure the timely delivery of process improvement projects, with regular reporting on implementation progress and outcomes
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues related to system configuration and business operations
  • Effective communication skills to liaise between technical (IT) and non-technical (BU) teams, ensuring a clear understanding of business requirements, successful implementation, and ongoing maintenance of processes within the system
  • Strong communication with end users to ensure that they understand the resolution of incidents and the correct execution of processes
  • Experienced with Project Management Tooling Jira, Confluence, Office365
  • Business English, German beneficial but optional)
  • Experience in international, implementation projects

For each specific module or process, the consultant should have the relevant qualifications and expertise and provide support as outlined below.

Bachelors Degree in one of the following fields is required: Finance, Accounting, or MIS with SAP concentration
