Role:
The Senior Research Associate will be primarily responsible for executing in vivo studies evaluating the activity of engineered protein therapeutics in numerous Immuno-Oncology and Autoimmune disease models. Additional responsibilities include assessments of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic aspects of biotherapeutics. There will also be an opportunity to contribute to in vitro studies for evaluating the activity of engineered protein therapeutics.

Role:
The Senior Research Associate will be primarily responsible for executing in vivo studies evaluating the activity of engineered protein therapeutics in numerous Immuno-Oncology and Autoimmune disease models. Additional responsibilities include assessments of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic aspects of biotherapeutics. There will also be an opportunity to contribute to in vitro studies for evaluating the activity of engineered protein therapeutics.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development and execution of a range of Pharmacology studies including cell-based screening assays, immune cell bioassays, PK/PD assays and disease models for immuno-oncology, autoimmune and other in vivo immune-related disease models such as Tumor growth inhibition studies in humanized NSG tumor mice and autoimmune models
- Additionally, there will be opportunities to learn and contribute to series of in vitro assays such as MSD, ELISAs, cell-based biological assays, immune cell bioassays.
- Independently design and execute experiments, analyze results, make presentations, and present data in group meetings
- Maintain a meticulous record of protocols, data, and results
- M.S/B.S./B.A. with 2-6+ years of industry experience in the field of immuno-oncology, autoimmune diseases, or other inflammatory diseases
- Experience with animal handling and basic in vivo procedures of dosing, such as injections with various routes (s.c., i.p., i.v.), bleeding (tail bleed, cheek bleed, Retro Orbital), tumor measurement and collection of various organs for necroscopy for toxicology studies is required
- Experience with in vivo cancer or autoimmune disease models is also required
- Experience with cell culture including the culture of immune cells and tumor cells is desired
- Technical experience in the development and execution of ELISAs, MSD, gene expression analysis, flow-cytometry, in vitro and ex vivo immunology assays, and/or in vivo pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetic assays is a plus, but candidate can also be trained
