VetsEZ is seeking an Onboarding & Personnel Security Coordinator to support both human resources onboarding and personnel security administration efforts across VetsEZ. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth onboarding process while maintaining compliance with security policies and government regulations.

- Facilitate end-to-end new hire onboarding, including employment verification, offer letter distribution, and completion of necessary documentation.
- Maintain and track employee records, training compliance, and required certifications in HR systems.
- Assist with benefits enrollment, payroll setup, and distribution of the employee handbook.
- Coordinate with IT to request government-furnished equipment (GFE) and necessary system access for new hires.
- Monitor and ensure completion of role-based, system, and annual training requirements for employees and contractors.
- Support offboarding procedures, including final payroll processing, exit interviews, and equipment returns.
- Assist the Facility Security Officer (FSO) with security administration and compliance tasks.
- Guide new hires through security clearance documentation, e-QIP submissions, and VA background investigations.
- Process and track Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card requests, renewals, and deactivations.
- Monitor contractor compliance with VA security policies and required training.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for security-related inquiries, troubleshooting login issues for VA systems such as TMS 2.0 and e-QIP.
- Ensure adherence to VetsEZ, VA, and federal security policies during onboarding and offboarding.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Security Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in HR onboarding, personnel security, or administrative support in a federal contracting environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to liaise with employees, subcontractors, and government officials.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting security and access issues.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Public Trust clearance eligibility is required.
- Experience working with HRIS systems, government security platforms, or onboarding tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with VA security policies, e-QIP, TMS 2.0, and PIV processes is a plus.
