Position Overview

We are seeking an IT End User Device Intern to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced IT professionals and gain valuable experience in the field of end-user device management. You will assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting end-user devices, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties And Functions)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Assist in installing and configuring hardware and software on end-user devices.
• Provide technical support to end users to troubleshoot issues with their devices.
• Assist in managing and maintaining hardware inventory.
• Help to ensure that all devices are up to date with the latest software patches and security updates.
• Assist in setting up and configuring new devices for end users.
• Collaborate with other IT and business units to understand end-user device needs and requirements.
• Assist in developing and maintaining device policies and procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in IT, computer science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in end-user device management and a desire to learn.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and software concepts.
• Familiarity with device management tools, such as Microsoft Intune or SCCM.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
