As a Data Engineer at Cruise Planners, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide valuable insights to our organization. You will work closely with various teams to extract actionable information from data and communicate your findings using Power BI. Proficiency in MySQL is also essential for querying and manipulating data from our databases.

As a Data Engineer at Cruise Planners, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide valuable insights to our organization. You will work closely with various teams to extract actionable information from data and communicate your findings using Power BI. Proficiency in MySQL is also essential for querying and manipulating data from our databases.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources, including databases and external data repositories.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract relevant data from MySQL databases.
- Create data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Power BI to communicate insights effectively.
- Continuously monitor data quality and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data analysis and visualization.
- Coordinating with other team members to reach project milestones and deadlines.
- Auditing database regularly to maintain quality.
- Creating systems to keep data secure.
- Work closely with Business Intelligence to provide data for analysis.

Competencies
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in MySQL and Power BI.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools, especially Power BI.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for data accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
