Description

Responsible for facilitating buyback transactions on behalf of customers. Collaborates very closely with customers and outside entities involved: such as but not limited to custodians, wholesalers, depositories as well as other departments to ensure the sell is properly initiated and fully completed with accuracy and speed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with all parties involved.
  • Able to perform well in a fast paced, time sensitive and high-pressure environment.
  • Able to perform and execute buybacks with minimal error rate.
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Analyzes customer files and accounts to make certain the most up to date information is reflected.
  • Reviews all incoming and outgoing documents for accuracy.
  • Sends out required documents and follows up with the appropriate party to ensure documents are received and/or executed in a timely manner.
  • Provides status updates to customers, team members, and management.
  • Ensure incoming and outgoing payments are received and sent out accordingly and in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate and coordinate with appropriate parties regarding the shipment of precious metals to proper facilities.
  • Continuous inspection of reports to identify any potential issues or delays. If any issues arise or are foreseen, you must immediately alert and follow up with proper departments to determine the next best course of action and execution.
  • Any other Buyback department related duties.

Work Environment - The working conditions of this position include working in a remote fashion and autonomous environment. The environment must be free of distractions and provide a space to conduct business in a confidential manner. Able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with team in a remote environment.
