Fraser is seeking a Health Information Management (HIM) Coordinator to support the HIM Department. This role involves releasing information, conducting chart audits, performing data analysis, and handling procedural and diagnosis coding. The HIM Coordinator will deliver exceptional customer service with empathy, professionalism, and care.

Fraser is seeking a Health Information Management (HIM) Coordinator to support the HIM Department. This role involves releasing information, conducting chart audits, performing data analysis, and handling procedural and diagnosis coding. The HIM Coordinator will deliver exceptional customer service with empathy, professionalism, and care.
Requirements
- RHIT/RHIA in HIM or related field preferred but not required. Or have HIM experience.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred. Access to reliable transportation and ability to travel independently throughout the metro area within a reasonable amount of time is required.

- Proactively analyzes incoming/outgoing documentation to ensure compliance requirements are met.
- Responds to inbound/outbound documentation requests.
- Ensures the accuracy and quality of information release requests through analysis prior to release.
- Retrieves electronic documentation from electronic health record upon request.
- Acts as a primary resource related to Health Information requests and collaborates with clinicians to support client needs.

- Monday-Friday, during standard business hours.
- Pay is between $19.00 to $22.00 an hour based on experience.
