Plans, organizes and coordinates the application support activities for two or more software applications. Is responsible for implementation of assigned new applications and ongoing system enhancements. Works under the supervision of higher-level Systems Analysts/Team Leader. Assist others in the implementation of applications and ongoing system maintenance and enhancements. Consults with and assists users in making the most effective use of computer applications. Performs tasks associated with Information Systems projects related to the analysis of user needs, system design, installation and enhancements to existing systems; meeting coordination, preparation of meeting materials, meeting minutes, and maintenance of application documentation. Monitors assigned application to assure that systems are functioning properly and take appropriate corrective action when system problems are detected. Conducts test runs, evaluates results, consults with users, and refines or revises programs and system to conform to requirements and validate configuration of applications prior to implementation. Prepare status reports that quantitatively and qualitatively inform of project progress and results. Recommends software solutions, including both commercial software packages and in-house developed applications, based on user requirements. Assists in developing project cost and benefit estimates to establish project worth, including the development of alternative considerations leading to recommendations for new systems or systems changes. Assist with user training, to assure effective use of in-house and commercial software packages. Supports users requiring linkage between computers and mainframe systems, including system interfaces, downloading and uploading. Assist in developing departmental policies and standards related to use of systems and software. May provide direction to Systems Analyst I.

EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 4 year Bachelor's Degree in Computer science, information systems technology, or related discipline (Required); In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree; an Associate Degree and a Minimum of 4 years additional relevant experience is acceptable.
  • 2 years Proficiency in the use and understanding of two or more applications currently used in healthcare settings. (Required)
  • 2 years Experience in implementing and/or upgrading an application in a healthcare setting. (Required)1 years Understanding of the processes related with the department/s and application that the analyst manages. (Preferred)
  • 2 years experience in supporting Workday implementations - HCM, Payroll, Recruitment, Performance, Reporting modules - (Preferred)

Position is 100% on site in Albany Georgia. Must be eligible to work US without restriction
