Requirements
What You’ll Do:
- Install and configure networking equipment, IP cameras, and computer hardware
- Run low-voltage cabling and provide power setup for system installations
- Provide technical support via phone, email, and remote tools
- Represent our company professionally during onsite visits and work directly with customers
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues across a variety of platforms
- Guide non-technical users through setup, training, and support
- Document site visits, resolutions, and recurring issues
- Travel frequently, sometimes with short notice – including commercial air travel
- Work outdoors and in active industrial environments in all types of weather
- Working knowledge of computer hardware, networking (switches, IP addressing, routers), and IP-based systems
- Hands-on experience or willingness to learn cabling, mounting hardware, and low-voltage power
- Strong interpersonal skills – able to speak clearly with customers of all technical levels
- A professional presence and the ability to handle onsite situations independently
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
- No hesitation flying frequently – you must be comfortable with regular commercial air travel
- A valid passport or willingness to obtain one (occasional international travel may be required)
- Based locally and able to work in-office when not on the road
- CompTIAA+, Network+, or similar certifications
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Familiarity with access control, security, or scale systems
- Travel across the U.S. while solving real-world technical challenges
