Experience As a Mercedes-Benz Sales Manager Required
Knowledge of Reynolds & Reynolds, Elead, Vauto, Automotive Mastermind and CarWars preferred.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to pass drug testing and background check
Professional appearance and work ethic

Responsibilities:
- The General Sales Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Sales Floor.
- They are responsible for appraising, displaying, and merchandising the vehicles.
- The position will uphold the objectives of the department and accomplish them through planning, organizing, controlling and measuring the performance of the salespeople.
- Establishes monthly sales goals, communicates goals to the team, and obtains these goals.
- Engages in monthly sales forecasting and tracking
- Develops, implements and monitors the use of prospecting programs; participates in developing advertising campaigns and other promotions.
- Tracks incoming sales leads and keeps abreast of an ongoing business to assist customers in a timely fashion.
- Understands keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect vehicle sales.
- Hires, motivates, challenges, counsels, develops and monitors the performance of all sales employees and guides all salespeople in setting short and long range objectives.
- Conducts daily and weekly sales training meetings.
- Oversees and directs salespeople's efforts and communicates policies and procedures to enhance the dealership's image and customer satisfaction ratings..
- Works with salespeople on programs that increase car sales and helps close deals when necessary.
- Appraises incoming used vehicles following established standards for appraising trades.
- Provides dealer with accurate floor traffic control data on a daily basis.
- Reviews inventory daily to ensure the proper mix of grounded stock for maximum turnover efficiency.
- Recommends to the general manager & other sales managers the new-car & used inventory to be carried by color, model, and equipment, based on a variety of customer and market analyses.
- Assists the used-vehicle department with trade appraisals as needed. Helps maintain a used inventory along with tracking titles, the flow of repairs and recon of inventory to make ensure those vehicles are made available for sale asap.
- Directs merchandising and advertising efforts for the new-vehicle department in conjunction with the sales managers and dealer.
- Minimum of 5 years of General Sales Manager Sales experience with previous luxury brand.
