The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for maintaining BIGGBY COFFEE brand standards and the ideation and creation of various brand assets for the company. This is achieved through conceptual thinking, art and photo direction, and design production while ensuring production standards are met (size and quality of assets).  

  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Design print and digital creative assets  
  • Update and refresh outdated BIGGBY-branded products to reflect new brand standards   
  • Handle intake of requests from both Home Office team members and external Operators   
  • Aid with photography and art direction for photoshoots 
  • Develop branding collateral for new BIGGBY products   
  • Provide creative direction for print and digital projects within the company   
  • Work with the Creative Director to mentor team of graphic designers  
  • Maintain high level of brand standards for BIGGBY COFFEE   
  • Make complex design decisions   
  • Participate in meetings to develop the brand, design, and marketing initiatives for the company

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES (IF NECESSARY) 

  • Work with external vendors to provide direction to produce assets that conform to brand standards  
  • Provide art direction for photoshoots  

  

 

Minimum Requirements

Education 

Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Arts with Graphic Design or related field required  

Experience 

  • Minimum 5 years of professional Graphic Design experience required   
  • Expert level Adobe Creative Suite experience required (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)  
  • Experience creating integrated content across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and print   
  • Experience creating marketing collateral, sales materials, and presentations   
  • Experience providing creative direction to outside organizations and/or time spent working in an agenda or in-house studio   
  • Proficient understanding with web design and UX/UI  

  

 

Knowledge 

  • Thorough understanding of Branding and Brand Strategy  
  • General understanding of interaction design principles and techniques to generate files that are prepared effectively for programmers and partners   
  • Extensive understanding of design principles   
  • Digital prepress/final file preparation   
  • Familiarity with Asana or similar tool preferred   
  • Understanding of photography and photo composition preferred   
  • Creative vision with an understanding of business objectives preferred  

  

 

Ability 

  • Ability to translate specifications and information to meet the requirements of a project/task  
  • Ability to generate multiple concepts quickly based on design briefs and requirements developed by the design team and/or other teams within the organization  
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance  
  • Ability to multitask and switch from project to project seamlessly   
  • Ability to generate original ideas and take feedback and information from multiple stakeholders  
  • Detail oriented  
  • Critical thinking and problem solving  
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team setting
