About The Role
The Project Analyst will be a key member of our operations team supporting our construction projects. The project analyst will ensure that all assigned sites’ reporting requirements and monthly billing packages are completed and error free, and are delivered on time, on budget, and to agreed quality standards. They will further assist the local site project coordinator (PC) to meet these requirements and act as the subject matter expert to support the sites for the PC function.

About The Role
The Project Analyst will be a key member of our operations team supporting our construction projects. The project analyst will ensure that all assigned sites’ reporting requirements and monthly billing packages are completed and error free, and are delivered on time, on budget, and to agreed quality standards. They will further assist the local site project coordinator (PC) to meet these requirements and act as the subject matter expert to support the sites for the PC function.
Essential Duties And Responsibilites
Reporting/Billing Support
- Establishes templates and tools for the sites to utilize in order to correctly report financials including administrative reporting, templates for timekeeping, weekly reporting, and monthly billings.
- Audit weekly, monthly and YTD Reports and employee timesheets for time keeping and billing accuracy.
- Conduct periodic audits with the sites of the Contractors’ (Agency) hours.
- Establish and review site level Monthly Billing Packages
- Establish and update Site Timecard Templates for RunOps and GMP projects as needed.
- Maintain an understanding of contract billing specifics and requirements including GMP retainage amounts designated in contract
- Maintain an intimate knowledge of client’s Schedule of Value methodology
- Create Material Invoice Logs and gathering material invoices for Month End Billing
- Review contract value updates in Client Portal and Direct Line accounting system
- Resolve discrepancies within all areas of the reporting process
- Ensure adherence to SOPs for all reporting processes
- Participate in weekly administrative meetings with the all sites’ PMs
- Work with Billing Manager and Reporting Manager on hi-priority issues that are creating hinderances to project financial reporting activities
- Work with Client Project Management team and/or Client’s auditing team to address corrections to observation made during the monthly auditing process
- Participate in weekly meetings with client auditor (Currie & Brown) to give and gather updates on sites’ billings and standings for outstanding PayApps
- Uphold a strict level of confidentiality; Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff, customers, and vendors.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience and 2 years of experience on construction projects.
- Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information and be discreet,
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook Mail, Internet Explorer, Adobe Acrobat
- High level of proficiency in Excel required including data mining, report construction, Pivot tables and VLOOKUP experience,
- Proficient understanding of wage and hour regulations
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong ability to cope with difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Strong attention to detail
- Courteous and professional attitude and experience in dealing with the client base
- Excellent follow-through and ability
- Associates or Bachelor’s Preferred
- Intermediate Understanding of Accounting is helpful
