We are seeking a proactive, driven, and experienced QIDP/QDDP to join our team in Northwest Indiana. This is more than a job—it’s a mission. This is a high-impact leadership role that could lead to the Director of Waiver Operations position for the right candidate.

The role is based in Merrillville, Indiana, and includes responsibility for managing a caseload and supervising employees in the greater Indianapolis area.

About The Role

As a QIDP/QDDP, you’ll lead individualized care coordination, ensure compliance, and serve as a critical advocate for quality services. You’ll oversee a team, manage program outcomes, and work closely with leadership—positioning yourself for upward growth within the organization.

Requirements

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (4-year) in Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or a related human services field — required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD)
  • Must meet the QIDP/QDDP qualification standards
  • Extensive experience working with Therap (electronic documentation system)
  • Strong leadership and accountability skills, with a demonstrated ability to hold yourself and your team to high-performance standards
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of auto insurance
  • Willingness to travel throughout Northwest Indiana to support caseload and staff
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet the needs of individuals served
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with local agencies, families, and internal team members
  • Strong professionalism, including the ability to build rapport, lead with empathy, and handle difficult situations diplomatically

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Indiana Medicaid Waiver services
  • Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS)
  • A growth mindset and strong track record of problem-solving and continuous improvement
