This role requires a motivated Application Support Analyst to provide technical and functional support for business applications, ensuring smooth operations and user satisfaction. The Application Support Analyst is responsible for resolving issues related to these software applications, providing technical assistance to users, and maintaining the stability and functionality of the organization's systems. They often troubleshoot problems, analyze reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth application performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigating and resolving software application issues, often involving direct communication with users to understand the problem and identify solutions.

2. Technical Support: Providing technical assistance to users, including answering questions, guiding them through processes, and ensuring they can effectively use the applications.

3. Incident Management: Logging, triaging, and responding to service requests, monitoring their status, and communicating updates to users.

4. Application Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitoring applications' performance to identify potential issues and ensure they function correctly and efficiently.

5. Documentation and Reporting: Creating and maintaining documentation for application processes, troubleshooting steps, and user guides.

6. Collaboration and Communication: As an integral part of our IT team, the Application Support Analyst will work closely with other IT professionals, including developers, testers, and business analysts, to resolve issues and improve application performance.

7. Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance application support efficiency and user experience.

8. Training and Education: Training users on using new or updated software applications.

9. Data Analysis: Analyzing data related to application issues to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of problems.

10. Collaboration: Work with IT teams and business users and participate in project teams for new systems.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

2. 2+ years of experience in application support.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

4. Experience with ITIL processes.

5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

6. Knowledge of relevant programming languages, databases, or platforms.

7. Experience with incident management systems.

8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
