Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Med/Surg - Ortho E100

Shift: Days, 7a-7p, 12x3, 36hrs per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• NH License
• 2 Years experience
• Must have Med/Surg skillset- head to toe assessment; orthopedic care knowledge; IV medication administration including management of Lasix drip, heparin drip, IVP metoprolol diltiazem and insulin IV or subQ; wound care including drain management and vacs; NGT/G tube care and parenteral nutrition; central line management- PICC/HD catheter/midlines; foley/nephrostomy/suprapubic catheter care; ostomy care; postoperative patient care
• BLS
• ACLS preferred

• Number of Beds : 48 (average census 27)
• Patient Ratios : 1:5 days; 1:6 nights
• Documentation system: Altera/Allscripts Sunrise
• Floating policy: Floats to like MST units (D1, F2). Float pool then Travelers generally float first.
• Patient Experience requirements: Participation in daily MDRs on day shift Mon-Fri @ 1030-11/1115. Work with team for promotion of patient care excellence
