Travel Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Float

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - MedSurg - Float 48's

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x4, 48 hrs per week

Length: 18 weeks

Weekend Requirement Every other weekend

Call or standby requirement: No call time, may be put on standby if scheduled and not needed.

Requirements

• WA License
• At least 2 years experience
• Must have EPIC experience within past 2 years
• BLS
• NIHSS
  
  

Other Details

• Travelers are first to float - may float to the other surgical units or other medsurg units. Rare need for team nursing in Covid Medical unit. May be floated to ED for holds. On average, house 20-30 medsurg patients in the ED daily
• # of beds 38, can max out to 42 with semi-private rooms
• Ratios 1:4-5 both days and nights
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients All general surgery patients, appendectomies, fractures, GI, Gyne, Vascular etc.
