Project Manager

Monkey in the Metal is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to help keep our projects running smoothly. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and are passionate about delivering high-quality custom work, this role is for you!

Based in Baltimore, Maryland, Monkey in the Metal has been delivering custom solid wood and metal fabrication solutions since 2012. We specialize in crafting one-of-a-kind furniture, architectural treatments, signage, and artwork for public and private spaces. Our portfolio spans multifamily residences, offices, retail spaces, and universities, with a core mission that "everything custom comes to us." Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing project schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring timelines are met.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, keeping them updated and ensuring clear communication.
  • Utilize ERP systems like Innergy to input and adjust project timelines and priorities.
  • Work closely with shop teams to monitor production, troubleshoot issues, and maintain project quality.
  • Assist in reviewing project documentation, including records, drawings, and specifications.
  • Help coordinate installation logistics and ensure all project components are ready on time.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in project coordination or a related role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; familiarity with Innergy ERP is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset and problem-solving approach.
  • Experience in construction or fabrication is a plus but not required.
