We’re seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our finance team with general accounting tasks, financial reporting, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles. We’re seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our finance team with general accounting tasks, financial reporting, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles. We offer a hybrid schedule and room to grow internally, for someone who wants to stay long term.
Key Responsibilities
- General Ledger: Assist with journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and monitor outstanding balances.
- Financial Reporting: Support month-end and year-end close, and help prepare financial statements.
- Bank Reconciliations: Ensure accuracy through monthly reconciliations.
- Tax & Compliance: Assist with sales tax filings and audit preparation.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Provide support for various accounting tasks as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.).
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
