Management Responsibilities
This position does not currently have any direct reports that they manage.
The Digital Asset Assistant in the Creative Services department will closely collaborate with the Creative Services Manager and Digital Asset Analyst.
Throughout this internship, the focus will be on learning and developing skills in creating, reviewing, and editing assets, assigning appropriate taxonomy and usage rights metadata to assets, and converting items to the client’s desired format, auditing Digital Asset Management system in order to produce high-quality visual assets for various marketing channels, including social media, websites, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
This 3-6 month paid internship provides a structured learning environment, requiring consistent scheduling. We encourage recent graduates in Horticulture, Photography, Photo production, Marketing, Digital Asset Management, or related fields, as well as current students seeking to continue their education while gaining practical experience, to apply.

Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language is required. Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens on occasion. Position requires long-term ability for walking, standing, sitting, squatting, bending, reaching, and twisting regularly to fulfill essential duties. Candidate must be able to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted, and up to 50 pounds assisted.

Job Description
- Digital Asset Management:
- Manage and maintain digital assets in Webdam with accurate metadata, categorization, and accessibility for internal teams.
- Conduct regular Webdam audits to remove duplicates, archive outdated images, and correct incorrectly tagged image assets to improve searchability and organization.
- Standardize metadata fields across all assets for consistency.
- Assist with bulk metadata updates using Excel and Webdam import/export tools.
- Post-production
- Retouch and edit images, ensuring high-quality finishes, and maintaining consistency across all projects
- Enhance product photos, editing shots, clipping paths, creating composite images from multiple sources
- Receive assignments from the Creative Manager, adhering to a strict schedule to manage assigned jobs
- Ensure every image file meets department naming conventions and production workflow
- Basic Excel proficiency (sorting, filtering, basic formulas, and structured data entry).
- High school diploma; Relevant training (e.g., production courses) will be an advantage.
- Degree in Horticulture, Photography Editing, Digital Asset Management, Marketing, or related fields; or currently enrolled in a such a program.
- Basic Excel proficiency (sorting, filtering, basic formulas, and structured data entry).
- Photo Retouching and Image Editing skills [CW1] [JC2] [CW3] [GY4]
- Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop
- Poses strong follow through with communications.
- Quick learner, very organized and able to multi-task or change direction quickly.
- Skilled in utilizing Microsoft office applications and the broader suite of Microsoft software products.
- Can successfully self-manage when needed.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, time management and project management skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Experience with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, or data validation for metadata tracking.
- Basic experience with DAM but training can be provided
- Knowledge of InDesign preferable, but training can be provided
