Job Description

SpiritJets is a rapidly growing Aircraft Management and Charter company based at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield, MO. Applicants must be reliable, detailed oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Employees of SpiritJets work together to provide the highest quality service and seamless operations for our clients.

This position will report to the Lead Aircraft Detailer. Primary job duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning the interior, including the galley, cockpit, seating areas, carpet, windows, and lavatories
• Cleaning the exterior, including wiping down, wet washing, waxing, and polishing
• Using approved cleaning products while following safety procedures
• Inspecting finished work using company provided checklist to ensure quality standards are met
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to meet scheduling requirements
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Previous detailing or cleaning experience preferred; experience in aviation is a plus.
• High school diploma
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
• Must be comfortable with bending, knelling, climbing ladders, using a scissor lift, and not afraid of heights
• Must have excellent communication skills (phone, e-mail, and face to face)
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license
• Positive attitude
• Must be proficient with computers to access email and flight schedule
• Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
