Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part Time Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for Accounts Payable responsibilities including managing and processing company bills and invoices, ensuring that all AP transactions are accurate and processed in a timely manner. You will work closely with other departments to resolve any discrepancies, assist with audits, and contribute to the smooth operation of the company’s financial activities.

Essential Functions

  • Entering high volume of Invoices and uploading to vendor folders (scan invoices using Kofax)
  • Matching invoices to proper receivers using Purchase Order system
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve receipt issues
  • Prepare General Ledger reconciliations and journal entry backups
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, annual closing processes and audits
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • Process Invoices and is knowledgeable of AP process (understands 3-way match)
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and multitask
  • Experience in month end close processes and reporting
  • Act as a backup for Accounts Receivable
  • Well rounded in Accounting functions

Years Experience: 1+ Years

Education: Bachelor's or Associate Degree in a related field
