GRC Analyst
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented GRC Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in cybersecurity, risk management, compliance frameworks, and project coordination. As a GRC Analyst, you will support the development, implementation, and monitoring of our governance, risk, and compliance programs, while also contributing to project management activities that ensure successful execution of key initiatives across teams.

GRC Analyst
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented GRC Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in cybersecurity, risk management, compliance frameworks, and project coordination. As a GRC Analyst, you will support the development, implementation, and monitoring of our governance, risk, and compliance programs, while also contributing to project management activities that ensure successful execution of key initiatives across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing risk assessments, control reviews, and compliance audits
- Help maintain and update risk registers, issue logs, and control matrices
- Support internal and external audit processes by gathering and organizing documentation
- Participate in the development and maintenance of policies, standards, and procedures
- Assist with third-party risk management activities
- Monitor regulatory and compliance trends and help assess impact on business operations
- Support GRC tool administration and reporting
- Document processes, findings, and action plans in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborate with IT, Legal, HR, and other departments to promote compliance awareness
- Coordinate tasks and timelines for GRC-related projects and cross-functional initiatives
- Track progress on action items and follow up with stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
- Support project documentation including status reports, meeting notes, and schedules
- Help manage project communications and facilitate team alignment on goals and deliverables
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
- Basic understanding of GRC concepts, cybersecurity, and risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Good communication and writing abilities
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities
- Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, and documentation tools
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in project coordination or experience working on team-based projects
- Internship or academic experience in GRC, compliance, cybersecurity, or project management
- Exposure to GRC tools (e.g., ServiceNow GRC, Archer, LogicGate, etc.)
- Exposure to project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, MS Project)
- Certifications (or interest in pursuing) GRC Analyst certification, CISA, CRISC, or project management certifications such as CAPM, PMP, or Agile Scrum
