  • Support key business decisions by preparing detailed product and investment financial analyses.
  • Partner with purchasing and inventory teams to manage material cost and stock strategies.
  • Work closely with corporate finance and ensure alignment on financial reporting.
  • Take ownership of the annual physical inventory process and any make-vs-buy evaluations.
  • Provide costing support for new product development initiatives.
  • Handle monthly journal entries and support a smooth month-end close.
  • Deliver monthly spending and operational trend analysis, highlighting budget deviations.
  • Create profit center P&Ls, and conduct product mix and price/volume analysis.
  • Jump in on ad hoc business analysis projects as needed.

What You’ll Bring As An Operations Controller

  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred. CPA or MBA is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
  • Comfortable analyzing complex financial data and turning it into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (JD Edwards experience is a plus), and ideally familiar with HFM.
  • Strong Excel skills and an analytical mindset—you love solving problems with numbers.
  • Great communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
