This Position Serves As a Primary Point Of Contact For Clients, Addressing Inquiries And Providing Exceptional Service. The Wealth Management Assistant Assists Wealth Management Team In The Day-to-day Sales Activities Of Running Bank-wide Investment Program Including, But Not Limited, To The Following

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assists in scheduling client meetings and managing calendars for financial advisors.
  • Assists Executives in preparing for client reviews by compiling current account balances, transaction histories, research reports, etc.
  • Prepares and organizes client documentation, reports and presentations.
  • Assists with account openings, as needed.
  • Conducts financial research and prepares summaries for client portfolios and investment options.
  • Monitors financial markets and provides proposals to the Wealth Management Executives based on the research.
  • Tracks and reports referrals from Investment Group to other Bank businesses.
  • Assists in preparing Retail Incentive reports.
  • Maintains accurate advisor resource site and contact information for all investment/ insurance companies consisting of regular mail, and overnight mail addresses, customer service phone and FAX numbers and Executives I.D.’s for each vendor company.
  • Maintains and updates client database adding client information and meeting notes when necessary.
  • Assists with special projects and marketing/event support as necessary.
  • Works closely with financial advisors to support the development and implementation of wealth management strategies.
  • Coordinates with internal departments to facilitate client requests and transactions.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related preferred field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant industry related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Investment knowledge preferred.
  • Comprehensive computer skills, exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public in an investment climate.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and to interpret meaning behind results. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
