Director of Infrastructure
Salary $72,000 - $85,000
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Director of Infrastructure is responsible for agency-wide facilities maintenance, repairs and grounds/road keeping along with supervision of the Maintenance and Janitorial workforce. In addition, this position maintains oversight to the agency’s fleet management services and agency safety and site security program. This position’s specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the subsequent items, and are characterized in the following five standards of performance, defined as below:
I. JOB KNOWLEDGE
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possess skills and experience with support services operations, building maintenance repairs, construction, HVAC, and electrical/mechanical operations.
Possess good interpersonal, written, oral, and communication abilities and effective time management/organizational skills.
Able to work scheduled hours and on-call needs or support that may include overtime, weekend and/or holiday timeframes and maintain an acceptable work attendance as defined in the agency’s personnel policy manual and handbook.
Be computer literate with knowledge of agency operating systems and applicable software required for department needs.
Able to generate and present comprehensive written reports and respond to questions about the report.
Demonstrate sound judgment in normal work and emergency situations.
Must physically be able to perform the required certifications and lift fifty (50) pounds.
Possess a valid driver’s license acceptable to the agency’s insurance carrier.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years relevant experience, including three (3) years in a supervisory capacity

Associates degree plus eight (8) years’ experience
-Or-
A combination of education and experience that in the opinion of the reviewing agency, exceeds the above standards of the program

This position’s specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the subsequent items, and are characterized in the following five standards of performance, defined as below:
I. JOB KNOWLEDGE
- Oversight and coordination of day-to-day operations of building maintenance, repairs, grounds/road keeping, snow removal and janitorial services for the short- and long-term needs for all agency sites.
- Oversight of agency’s site security and emergency preparedness programs
- Identify and correct any safety and/or security concerns for all agency sites.
- Oversight for ongoing preventative maintenance/repairs on assigned departmental and agency equipment.
- Solicit proposals for maintenance of service contracts, warranties, and the like for buildings, equipment, and services (i.e., plowing, security system etc.).
- Solicit proposals and oversee new construction and renovation projects, from design through completion
- Maintain and enforce department(s) policy and procedural manuals for assigned areas.
- Coordinate and maintain the agency’s Lock Out/Tag Out Equipment Program.
- Maintain the Residential Housekeeping and Safety Inspections Log
- Complete and/or review staff performance evaluations (6 month and annual) within the required agency timeframes.
- Prepare and/or maintain adherence to the approved budget for related agency programs
- Any additional duties as assigned
- Encourage and maintain a positive working relationship with all departments in the agency, parents, staff, individuals served and community partners while expecting the same from direct report staff.
- Attend and participate in all required and/or requested departmental or agency committees and/or meetings
- Assist other departments with agency events as required
- Complete required documentation in conformance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures and billing practices
- Perform documentation reviews to ensure records are maintained in conformance with rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and billing practices
- Identify and report any untoward incidents
- Identify, report and/or correct all safety hazards including physical plant problems and/or problem work practices and assist with investigating work-related departmental accidents as requested
- Participate in any investigations as required
- Comply with all State and Federal regulations along with agency policies and practices
- Ensure that supervised employees receive the required agency and/or state mandated training
- Obtain and maintain the required training certifications
- Attend all required training, staff development programs and staff meetings as required by the agency and/or State and Federal regulations
