We are seeking a highly motivated Electronics Test Technician Intern to join our team in Blacksburg, VA. As a Test Technician Intern, you will work with a team of engineers proving compliance for harsh military or space applications throughout the entire design cycle into production.

Actual employment will be through a staffing agency of VPT's choosing. Salary will be discussed with the applicant and is dependent upon experience.

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Electronics Test Technician Intern to join our team in Blacksburg, VA. As a Test Technician Intern, you will work with a team of engineers proving compliance for harsh military or space applications throughout the entire design cycle into production.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform automated testing and screening of production and engineering parts
- Perform maintenance on test and screening circuits, hardware, harnesses and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuits
- Assemble circuit boards, test hardware and wiring harnesses
- Apply basic principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate in electrical engineering technician courses
- Basic knowledge of electronic test equipment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 apps
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
