Join Lorenzi Health as a Part-Time Outpatient Therapist and be part of a flexible, client-centered team that values your clinical voice, well-being, and impact. This role will be seeing clients in person at least 2-3 days, and telehealth as requested! This role requires evening availability!

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs in order to direct treatment planning
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals
  • Offer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions
  • Respond to mental health crises and provide immediate support and intervention as needed
  • Coordinate care with other health professionals, social services, and community resources to support client needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers and participate in case consultations to ensure comprehensive care
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and advocate for necessary services and support.
  • Other responsibilities deemed necessary for the position.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Must have a Master’s degree in human services, counseling, clinical psychology or social work
  • Willing or have CAN's certificate by orientation date
  • Work with children, youth, and teens
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices, crisis intervention techniques, and mental health laws and ethics
  • Empathetic, patient, and dedicated to client care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to handle multiple tasks/projects and prioritize each task accordingly
  • Must value and demonstrate the ability to work with individuals of various backgrounds
  • Approved CORI check
  • Proficiency in behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis
  • Experience in patient care, assessment, and medical documentation
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
  • Strong background in mental health counseling
  • Premium skills in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Ability to work with diverse populations, including children and individuals with developmental disabilities

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with specific populations (e.g., children, adolescents, veterans) or treatment modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR)
  • Bilingual capabilities are a plus
  • Minimum of [2-3] years of clinical experience in a mental health setting
