Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure Safety & Quality: Uphold high standards for workplace safety, product quality and operational excellence.
  • Lead & Supervise: Oversee a talented production team, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high-quality output.
  • Optimize Production: Manage workflow, solve problems, and improve processes to meet and exceed production goals.
  • Develop Your Team: Train, mentor, and support employees to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to streamline production and boost efficiency.

  • Likely will be performing hands-on production and warehouse activities throughout shift

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of equipment, processes, and production flow
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and drive solutions
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for team development, efficiency, and quality

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Lean experience desired; training with practical application of lean tools
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field with 2-3 years manufacturing environment supervision experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Metal fabrication environment preferred
  • Must be able to effectively lead and motivate people
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work with detail, accuracy and timeliness. Must be able to perform multiple functions simultaneously and prioritize those functions to meet the needs of internal/external customers
  • Must demonstrate good communication skills. Must possess skill in documenting, recording, and organizing data/information. Effectively work within teams, both as a leader and team member. Ability to work both independently and within teams to meet business needs
  • Willingness to gain knowledge of and practice Continuous Improvement and use cardinal software to achieve those goals
  • Must demonstrate excellent PC, oral and written communication skills. Must be able to use Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Work Environment:

The work environment is metal fabrication manufacturing facility where frequent interruptions, distractions and moderate levels of noise occur. It requires wearing safety glasses (provided) and other required personal protective equipment.
