Responsibilities:
Develop and implement data management strategies and policies to ensure data accuracy, security, and accessibility.
Oversee the collection, storage, and analysis of data to support business operations and decision-making processes.
Lead a team of data analysts to maintain and optimize databases, data systems, and data processing procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and provide insights for strategic planning and business development.
Monitor data quality and integrity, and implement corrective measures as needed. Develop and maintain data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
Manage data projects from conception to completion, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to recommend data management best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in data management, database administration, or related field.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and database systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server).
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Understanding of data governance principles and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.8. Certification in data management or related field is a plus.
