We are looking for a Respiratory Sales Specialist to develop and execute a winning territory strategy while collaborating across teams to drive prescriptions and sales. In this role, you’ll build strong relationships with Pulmonologists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and other key healthcare providers. What You'll Do

  • Promote Verona’s products, drive sales, and exceed targets within an assigned territory while ensuring compliance.
  • Tailor customer interactions using disease state knowledge, competitor insights, and regional market dynamics.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Patient Access Programs and Specialty Distribution Models (e.g., Specialty Pharmacy/HUBs).
  • Support KOL advocacy and execute company-sponsored speaker programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales Ops, Market Access, Medical Affairs, etc.) to align business strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of HCP interactions in CRM software and leverage data for territory planning.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience preferred.
  • Experience in specialty pharmacy, alternative distribution channels, or HUBs preferred.
  • Pulmonology experience is a plus; experience with specialty HCPs in any therapeutic area is desired.
  • Proven success in exceeding sales targets, especially in competitive markets.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 90%; must reside in the assigned territory/metro area.
  • Candidate must possess a valid driver's license and must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must pass pre-hire drug test with satisfactory results.
  • Strict compliance with Verona's commercial compliance policy, and all applicable federal and state laws and guidance relating to product promotion and information dissemination.
  • Ability to meet any requirements set by healthcare customers and their facilities for access to those facilities (e.g., vaccination requirements, mask requirements, etc.).

As this position requires operation of a vehicle, offers of employment are contingent upon the candidate meeting the requirements of "Qualified Driver," as determined by the Company in its sole discretion, including but not limited to the following: (1) at least 21 years of age; (2) a driver's license in good standing issued by your state of residence; and (3) a driving risk level deemed acceptable by the Company.

Compensation

We offer a competitive base salary range of $140,000- $170,000 USD (final salary based on location, experience, and qualifications).
