The base pay for this position is $75,300.00 – $150,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.

What You’ll Work On
As an IT Business Systems Analyst (BSA), you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions. Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications:
- Software Development lifecycle: Author documentation within the software development lifecycle and ensure alignment with software quality.
- Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed system requirements.
- Technical Specifications: Write comprehensive technical specifications that developers and IT teams can use to build and implement solutions.
- Documentation: Create detailed documentation of system requirements, processes, and changes in accordance with Abbott’s software development lifecycle
- Quality testing: Coordinate and conduct testing to ensure that the implemented solutions meet the specified requirements.
- Project Management: Assist in managing projects, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, developers, business, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
- Compliance: Ensure that system changes comply with Regulated industry standards and regulations.
- Change Management Documentation: Document changes to systems and processes, including the rationale for changes, implementation steps, and impact analysis.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Over 3 years of IT experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a related field.
- Project Support: Proven experience in supporting digital technology projects.
- SDLC Knowledge: Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, with excellent documentation skills.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficient understanding of IT systems, software development, and data analysis tools.
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions.
- Analytical Skills: Expertise in analyzing complex business processes and data.
- Regulated industry guidelines /Compliance knowledge
- Quality background – QMS/CAPA/Testing
- This is an onsite role located in either IL locations. This is not a remote role/opportunity.
