This is a full-time, hybrid career opportunity based out of our Corporate Headquarters location in Lancaster, PA or our Century Boulevard location in Wyomissing, PA.

The Forecasting and Planning Analyst is primarily responsible for modeling accurate forecasts based on business assumptions and strategies. The incumbent in this role will collaborate with different teams to derive the assumptions to be modeled and ensure the reliability of the forecast, and will analyze complex data sets to identify key drivers of growth and the impact of market changes on future earnings. Additionally, the incumbent will monitor model accuracy, identify discrepancies, and implement improvements to enhance the forecast.

  • Gather insights and refine forecast assumptions through collaboration with Treasury, Accounting and Lines of Business. Regularly review assumptions to ensure they are realistic and aligned with business strategies and market expectations.
  • Maintain monthly forecast model updates including input of new volume assumptions, changes in rate curves, spread adjustments and updates on pricing changes.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Forecast/ALM model structure and design to ensure the models accurately represent the company’s financial situation, objectives and risk exposures
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in the forecast models and reports, and promptly address any discrepancies or issues to maintain the reliability of both the forecast models and final reports.
  • Assist in the development, documentation and maintenance of the forecast model policies and procedures to ensure controls and accuracy.
  • Participate in monthly review/analysis of forecast results with key stakeholders to identify assumption impacts to the balance sheet and earnings.
  • Produce and analyze monthly forecasts to actual variance reporting to determine discrepancies or trends that could indicate issues with assumptions affecting performance.
  • Prepare monthly Forecast reports to include a summary of the latest forecasting results and key assumptions to be presented to the Asset Liability Committee (ALCO).
  • Support Forecasting/Asset Liability Management (ALM) ad-hoc analyses as requested.
  • Assist with the implementation of system enhancements that can improve forecasting processes.


Education

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or other related fields. (Required)

Experience

3 or more years financial forecasting or ALM modeling experience. (Required)

3 or more years banking or financial services experience. (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Knowledge of banking balance sheet, income statement and capital (Preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills (Required)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional relationships (Required)
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling and technical skills (Required)
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in line with the Bank’s vision and strategy (Required)
  • Quality and attention to detail ability to work with large data sets and identify trends and patterns (Required)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills (Required)

Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

The salary range for this position is $68,900.00 - $114,800.00 annually.

This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
