Primary Responsibilities

• Develop the test scripts for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of Newton system enhancements by consulting with users, developers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other business analysts
• Manage the UAT process: ensure test environment or test data is prepared for testers, determine appropriate distribution of testing assignments, answer questions from testers, perform initial assessment of whether issues identified by testers are truly defects, track and report out testing progress, manage testers to ensure testing is completed by target date
• Work with SMEs and stakeholders to elicit, refine, write and prioritize detailed requirements for Newton system enhancements
• Coordinate with developers to determine design for Newton system enhancements and validate developer’s understanding of the ask
• Perform ongoing necessary activities throughout the lifecycle of the requirements, including meeting facilitation, documentation, status, workflows, tracking
  
  

This is a complex, fast-paced, matrixed environment with a lot of moving parts. The challenge is in developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models. You’ll be expected to balance creating or interpreting system enhancements with ensuring those enhancements are effectively tested before going live.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis
• Experience with User Acceptance Testing and writing test scripts
• Experience writing detailed business requirements
• Proficiency with Excel
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in underwriting
• Knowledge of Stepwise

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
