Position Summary
While working as a Fabrication and Painting Assistant you will be tasked with fulfilling duties and performing tasks related to entry level manufacturing. The assistant supports machinists, welders, painters, and fabricators by performing duties such as using basic hand tools, sanding, spray painting, cleaning work areas and equipment, and doing entry level manufacturing tasks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Trimming and finishing letters for signs
- Sanding and prepping signs for paint
- Shadowing with lead painter
- Helper/General laborer
- Manufacturing jobs and tasks
- Work on job assignments in other departments as instructed.
- High school diploma or GED
- Some experience in the printing industry preferred
- Ability to use hand tools
- Aptitude for handy man/general labor work
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
