Biochemical Process Engineer Duties

• Design and develop bioprocess systems and associated equipment for the plant’s fermentation and dry manufacturing processes.
• Analyze data to identify trends, optimize processes and provide reports
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards
• Interpret and analyze results of experiments and tests
• Assess potential risks and develop mitigation plans
• Maintain records and document process parameters
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and execute bioprocesses
  
  

Biochemical Process Engineer Skills

• Designing, developing, and optimizing bioprocess systems e.g. fermentation
• Implementing new technologies to improve efficiency and quality
• Performing research and analysis of bioprocesses
• Collecting and interpreting data on bioprocesses
  
  

Biochemical Process Engineer Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in bioprocess, biochemical, or chemical engineering or related field
• Experience in bioprocess engineering – minimum 3 years, 5 or more preferred
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques
• Knowledge of bioprocess and fermentation systems
• Ability to analyze and interpret data
