What You'll Do
As a Quality Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation of assuring that our Quality Systems meet excellence standards, regulations and internal requirements through the development, implementation and monitoring of appropriate processes, people, tools, metrics, and goals.
What We're Looking For
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and improving Operation Quality Systems.
- Analyzes Quality Systems data to identify and make recommendations for meeting organizational Quality Systems and strategic objectives.
- Acts as technical advisor on Quality Systems matters.
- Direct process owner for internal/external audits and supplier controls.
- Manages the Quality Engineering team and directs the activities of Quality Engineers, Quality Control Supervisor and Document Control Supervisor.
- Establishes goals and metrics related to people, processes and product for the Quality Engineering team.
- Provides input to the development of departmental performance objectives.
- Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to Quality Systems.
- Responsible for the planning and development of the site-level Management Review.
- Responsible for product quality and compliance through the development, implementation, monitoring and improvement of site-level Quality Systems.
- Facilitate and respond to Supplier & Customer Surveys including but not limited to Quality System Surveys, REACH, RoHS, Latex, WEEE Compliance surveys etc.
- Observe and promote Company standards and policies on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must have a high school or GED diploma with more than 15 years of experience is required.
- 5+ Years of Quality Engineering and/or Quality Control
- 5+ years of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) medical device manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485:2003 at mastery level and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 at proficient level.
- Experience using Microsoft Products specifically Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Direct management/supervisory experience.
- Certifications as a Quality Auditor (ASQ) and Quality Manager (ASQ) are preferred.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is preferred.
- Lean Manufacturing is preferred.
- BS Engineering degree is a preferred.
- Experience with Minitab is a preferred.
- Experience with EQMS and MSA is also a preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
