As a pivotal member of our Business Operations Team, the Business Operations Analyst will provide insights and analysis across our products and services. You'll evaluate potential business opportunities, including contracts and partnerships, conduct outcomes studies, and offer critical support to our sales and operations teams. Your role will be instrumental in driving our continued growth and success by uncovering key insights and evaluating different growth opportunities, supporting strategic initiatives, and aligning with our business objectives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented communicator with a strong grasp of the healthcare industry who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Location: This position is remote within the U.S., and its core operating hours are aligned with Pacific Standard Time (PST).

What You’ll Do
Strategic Analysis and Planning:
- Partner closely with executive leadership to develop strategic plans and initiatives that foster growth and streamline operations within the healthcare sector.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of methodologies, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making.
- Analyze operational workflows, processes, and key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and enhance care quality.
- Develop data-driven solutions to increase efficiency and elevate patient satisfaction.
- Evaluate market trends, patient demographics, and competitive positioning to identify growth opportunities and develop effective expansion strategies.
- Conduct detailed market segmentation analyses to optimize targeted marketing efforts.
- Dive into financial metrics, revenue streams, and performance indicators to identify growth prospects and mitigate risks.
- Develop growth projections and models to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and methodologies to analyze healthcare data, derive actionable insights, and provide recommendations.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, dynamic dashboards, and impactful presentations for key stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with teams across marketing, finance, operations, and clinical domains to implement growth strategies and initiatives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing analytical support for cross-functional projects.
- Adhere to and reinforce company policies and guidelines within the team.
- Promote efficient use of resources and innovative solutions.
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Foster a culture of compassionate communication and professionalism.
- Experience: At least one to three (1-3) years in roles such as sales consultant, operations analyst, business analyst management consultant, or investment analyst, within the healthcare sector and preferably within venture-backed startups.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, statistics, healthcare administration, business administration, health informatics, or related fields.
- Skills:
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in strategic planning, business analysis, sales, or operations within healthcare.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Proficiency in data modeling, statistical analysis, and healthcare data analysis (e.g., medical claims, pharmacy data).
- Understanding of healthcare systems, provider groups, health plans, reimbursement, and regulatory environments.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data integrity and accuracy.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- BI tools experience is desirable (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
