Description

What You Will Be Doing To Make a Difference....
- Manage a small caseload of clients who are in search of employment and match job responsibilities with clients' skills and experience
- Research internet, newspapers and other resources for job leads for clients
- Attend job fairs and conferences where suitable contacts can be made
- Track each clients individual career tracks and progress
- Provide on-site support for clients’ as they learn to navigate the job search process and the responsibilities of each role they express interest
- Learn and demonstrate respect for the roles of partner agencies (Sheriff’s Department, Parole, Probation, etc.) at your site; our job is to be a resource to these other agencies
- Respect boundaries between treatment and security
- Driving is required

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Rehabilitative Counseling, Counseling or Human Services required
- Minimum of 2 years teaching or counseling experience required
- Expected to be familiar with local resources and model pro-social behavior
