Facility: Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Vista Manor

Location: Titusville, FL

Shift: Full-Time Days

Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Vista Manor is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep our facility running smoothly and safely. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the maintenance, preventive maintenance, projects, and repair of all facility equipment.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, drywall patching, minor plumbing, and carpentry work.
• Maintain internal and external grounds and building equipment in a safe and efficient manner per regulations.
• Ensure daily clean-up of work areas at the end of each shift or job completion.
• Respond to "on-call" emergency maintenance situations as needed.
• Oversee the maintenance department in the absence of the Maintenance Director.
• Support with setup and breakdown for facility events and other facility support tasks as needed.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a long-term care facility or hospital preferred.
• Skilled in painting, minor repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Familiarity with servicing heating and cooling systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
