Disney Entertainment Television is seeking a Coordinator to support the Music Licensing team in working with all studios, production entities and networks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth administration and coordination of music contracts across various projects.

- Review, draft and negotiate music licenses for use in-show, in on-air and online promotions, and other exploitations
- Reconcile licenses with approved templates and terms
- Maintain a tracking system for all music licenses from initial clearance through the distribution of fully executed licenses and payment of license fees
- Ensure that all fully executed music licenses are properly filed in the DET Music Licensing digital filing database
- Distribute fully executed music licenses
- Request and process mechanical licenses
- Issue master use licenses to third parties for DET owned content
- Provide administrative support and generally assist all members of the DET Music Licensing team with respect to the clearance, licensing and payment of large quantities of music licenses annually
- 1+ years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in music licensing and/or music contract administration is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of the television music licensing industry, including the intricacies of licensing agreements, rights management, and the various stakeholders involved in the process
- Experience drafting and negotiating music licenses and boilerplate agreements with music licensors preferred
- General understanding of music copyrights
- Demonstrated ability to research songwriter, music publisher, performer and record label information for songs and masters
- Proactive thinker with the ability to multitask and juggle many projects at once
- Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and able to work effectively within a large team
- Exhibits a strong work ethic, demonstrating dedication, reliability, and a proactive approach to tasks
- Comfortable communicating with DET executives across various departments
- Competency working with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Interest and knowledge of the music for television, music publishing and record business
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
