We are looking for a Peer Recovery Specialist Mobile Crisis Responder Level 1 to join our dedicated Mobile Crisis Response Team. Some Key Duties

  • Provide compassionate in-person and telehealth crisis support.
  • Develop and implement crisis/safety plans to help individuals maintain stability in the community.
  • Collaborate with families, community partners, and referral sources like the NorthCare Crisis Line and 988 dispatch.
  • Advocate for individuals, empowering them to achieve their recovery goals.
  • Offer timely follow-up care to ensure long-term stabilization and success.
  • Mentor and teach the value of lived recovery experiences to individuals navigating mental health challenges.

Schedule: Day shift- 1 weekend day and 2.5 weekdays

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Eligible for ODMHSAS Peer Recovery Support Specialist Certification (annual continuing education required). Wellness Coach Certification is a plus!
  • At least 1 year of behavioral health crisis experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and intermediate computer skills, along with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • A high degree of adaptability and efficiency to meet the demands of a 24/7 crisis response team.
  • CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Options certifications (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
  • Reliable transportation with a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and automobile liability insurance, including uninsured motorist coverage.
  • Local travel required.
  • Ability to meet NorthCare’s training requirements and adhere to CARF, DMHSAS, Medicaid, and HCA standards.
  • Starting salary for this position is guided by experience, education, certification(s), and the ability to perform the assigned tasks

This is a community-based role requiring travel and a high degree of autonomy. As an essential worker, you may occasionally work holidays, weekends, or during office closures.
