Job Roles & Responsibilities
Working in a TEAM environment with the Warehouse Manager,
- Safely perform and direct the loading and unloading of trucks
- Transport electrical materials in a safe, responsible manner
- Work with all team members to accomplish the daily shipping schedule
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and communicate any problems and standard maintenance with your vehicle
- Understand and complete the log book
- Submit monthly vehicle reports to fleet
- Coordinate jobsite clean offs with the Warehouse Manager and Field Supervisors
- Perform additional ad hoc responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to various office and warehouse/yard projects
- Demonstrate and embrace our company values, our PACT: People, Advance Process, Community, and Trusting Relationships
In addition to being punctual, self-motivated, detail oriented, and unwilling to accept second-best, you will
- Have at least six months experience driving/transporting materials
- Have experience pulling trailers
- Be at least 18 years of age with a High School diploma or GED
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving and customer service skills
- Possess strong interpersonal skills in order to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment
- Have a clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Exercise independent judgment and be motivated to grow and develop professionally
- Be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical
- Be physically able to raise, lower, or move objects weighing 50-150 pounds
