Dishwasher

Located in the heart of Rutherford, Napa Valley, Round Pond Estate is a family-owned and managed winery celebrated for crafting world-class wines, artisan olive oils, and gourmet foods. Our commitment to quality and hospitality is reflected in everything we do — from the vineyard to the kitchen.

We are currently seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Dishwasher to join our Hospitality team. This important role supports the Executive Chef by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food preparation to help deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly clean dishes, kitchen equipment, and utensils using proper sanitation procedures
• Operate dishwashing machinery and maintain proper temperature and chemical levels
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment, sweeping and mopping floors as needed
• Clean and sanitize food prep surfaces, refrigerators, and worktables
• Carefully wash and dry wine glasses and specialty glassware
• Assist with food prep tasks as directed by the Executive Chef, if needed
• Handle loading and unloading of supplies between storage and kitchen areas
• Manage trash disposal and sanitize garbage cans
  
  

Requirements:

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive team attitude
• Prior hospitality, or restaurant experience a plus
• Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly throughout an 8-hour shift
• Comfortable bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 40 pounds
• Availability to work occasional evenings and holidays
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English
• Commitment to maintaining safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification (assistance provided if needed)

Compensation
