Description

RK Logistics Group is seeking an HR Specialist to manage HR functions across our multi-client sites in the East Bay. As an HR Representative, you will manage HR functions across our multi-client sites in the East Bay. Your role includes supporting the leadership team and employees with onboarding, benefits guidance, attendance tracking, and performance documentation. This position requires traveling to multiple sites weekly to ensure HR visibility and accessibility.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

HR Administration

  • Draft and manage performance documentation, track attendance, and maintain performance records
  • Facilitate onboarding and training for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company
  • Manage offboarding processes, ensuring all exit procedures are followed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases
  • Address payroll inquiries by collaborating with the payroll team and following up on employee questions
  • Generate and analyze HR reports to support decision-making and strategic planning
  • Address employee concerns and grievances, and mediate conflicts as necessary
  • Coordinate and support employee training and development programs
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies

Employee Guidance

  • Provide guidance on benefits, company policies, procedures, and other inquiries.
  • Direct employees to appropriate partners if their inquiries do not pertain to HR issues
  • Assist the leadership team with HR responsibilities and policy compliance
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of HR activities and employee records
  • Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures to all employees
  • Support the performance management process, including tracking and documenting employee performance
  • Travel to multiple client sites weekly for HR visibility and accessibility
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with employees at all levels
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the East Bay to various client sites.

Qualifications And Skills Needed

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a logistics environment
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations
